Another day, Another dollar

"One worthwhile task carried to a successful conclusion
is worth a hundred half-finished tasks"

Hi peeps

What a week it's been. Having decided to take myself in hand, (no not the diet yet), and "Seize the Day", the week has disappeared over the hill with it's a*** on fire. Not a great deal of time for crafting but I have, with little assistance, removed 12 doors, dismantled, sanded and repainted the garden bench, cut grass, planted planters, done the weekly shop, washed / ironed enough clothes for a battalion, baked muffins and tried to keep the sproglets from each others throats.
My holiday is now a dim and distant memory
Still have a house to decorate and a plumber, joiner, builder, tiler and carpet fitter to organise. Still there's always tomorrow.

Did manage to finish my neighbours 70th birthday card. The finished card is 30x11cms. I used my Gypsy (spent a day just looking for the charger and cables) and Cricut to cut the letters for the card (290gsm white). The cartridge is Plantin SchoolBook.

CARD
Southfield white 290gsm
Junkitz Dog Plaid
Dovecraft Masculine paper pack
Dovecraft self adhesive ribbons
DO golfer stamp
Rubadubadoo golf caddy
Spellbinders Orchard Harvest Tags
Sizzix Fun Serif number dies
Quickutz Golf green and flag
Quickutz golf club
Copic markers
Archival inkpad - black
Distress Inks
Ribbon Assortment
Glossy Accents
Bind-it-All

BOX
Southfield A3 white
Bazzil card
Metal tape (self adhesive)
Sizzix alphabet Monogram
Hougie Board

Unfortunately I can't remember who makes the golf ball paper. All other papers and dies are at least a couple of years old. As the box is quite large, I had to strengthen the edges and the base with strips of white card. I find using Glossy Accents as the glue helps to make it even firmer when it dries.

Well that's it for today as I've just realised I also need to make appointments with the dentist, doctor and optician.

Big hugs
Karen
