What a day it's been

Saturday has to go down as one of the best days ever. so my very sincere thanks to all the guinea pigs (crazies) who turned up for the morning class. A hilarious bunch, who come to be used and verbally abused (only in a nice way) by myself, AND they've even had to pay for the privilege!!! They always seem to come up with some great tips, so I have decided that I will give a mention to that person. Yesterdays goes to Lesley for her time saving tip. I did use it in the next class.

I have to say that the afternoon class was also great. I love people with a sense of humour it makes for really fab classes.

Jean (our crafting/class newbie), Joan (class newbie), Jeana, Marilyn, Isobel and Margaret

The battle against the ooze is being won, albeit very slowly. It has now retreated, kicking and screaming, to a small corner behind my kitchen chair. I feel that today could be it's last day! Hope to show you the proof, although a photo of a bit of empty floor may look a little odd.

Thought I'd share a couple of photos of my Tim Holtz journal with you. It's a work in progress. a bit like myself. Hopefully I'll find some time this week to finish the cover at least.

The cover (Craft Resist Paper from Ranger) before inking

Assembled after inking using sticky backed canvas (Ranger)

Distress Ink Stains, Tissue Tape, Idea-ology findings and ribbon (all Ranger), dress form (Alterations die Sizzix)
Big hugs
